Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy to the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We have a minimum order value of £5.00. If you would prefer, we can accept telephone or faxed orders - please contact us on 01353 720105 if you prefer to order by telephone or fax.

We accept credit card and debit cards including Visa Electron as methods of payment. Alternatively, you may print out your order and mail it to us with a cheque in sterling pounds (drawn on a UK bank) payable to CAPTURE THE MAGIC LTD, or a postal order for the full value of the order. If your cheque should be returned unpaid, a £5 charge will be added to your balance to cover our additional bank and administration charges incurred as a result. We expect to receive cheques within seven days of you placing your order. If we do not receive payment within that time, we reserve the right to cancel your order and the products you have order will no longer be reserved. If paying by cheque, we may not dispatch your order until the cheque has cleared. This policy will be strictly enforced when sale goods are purchased. We do not currently accept American Express, and apologise if this causes you any inconvenience. We do not accept payment by cash or cheque in any currency other than sterling.
All orders are to be paid for before dispatch.

ANY REFERENCES TO METALS AND GEMS E.G. BRASS, SILVER, COPPER, GOLD RELATES ONLY TO THE ITEM COLOUR AND NOT ITS METAL OR JEWEL CONTENT.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

All orders are processed in the same order in which they are received.

Shipping And Handling

We happily ship to mainland UK and Northern Ireland, and BFPO addresses. All orders are dispatched using Royal Mail or Parcelforce, and are processed in the same order in which they are received. The minimum order value is £5.00, including postal charges.

For orders placed after 1 June 2010, our postal charges are as follows:

FOR DELIVERY TO UK, NORTHERN IRELAND AND BFPO ADDRESSES:

£1.75 for orders valued up to £25.00
FREE for orders valued over £25.00

Royal Mail Second Class Recorded:
£2.60 for orders valued up to £25.00
£0.85 for orders valued over £25.00

Royal Mail First Class:
£2.95 irrespective of order value

Royal Mail First Class Recorded:
£3.80 irrespective of order value


Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery (orders will be sent guaranteed next working day delivery from the day on which your order is processed):
£8.50 irrespective of order value

FOR DELIVERY TO THE REST OF THE WORLD - charged at cost subject to the following maximum amounts:
£ 7.00 for orders valued up to £25.00
£12.50 for orders valued up to £50.00
£25.00 for orders valued up to £100.00
£40.00 for orders valued up to £150.00
£60.00 for orders valued over £300.00
Thereafter postage charges increment at £10 per additional £25 of order value

In respect of all orders to be posted outside of the UK, the postage amounts as stated above will be applied to your order. We will calculate the actual postage due and reduce the amount to be debited to your card payment if appropriate.

Royal Mail states that compensation claims for lost post cannot be made prior to 15 days after despatch. We therefore will only send out replacement orders or issue a refund after 15 days from the date of posting should your order not arrive. It is at the discretion of Capture The Magic whether a replacement order or a refund is sent.

If you have correctly entered your email address when placing an order online, we will email you to confirm when your order has been processed. If you do not receive your order within 15 working days from the date you placed your order or the date your order was posted to you, please contact us. We will assume that your order has been received in a satisfactory condition if we do not hear from you within that time. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery Schedule

We will normally send your order to you within four business days of acceptance of your order. We will contact you if there is likely to be a delay in dispatching your order.

It is at the discretion of Capture The Magic whether a replacement order or a refund is sent.

If you would like to advise delivery instructions - for example, please leave in shed, please leave next door if out, etc you can do so. We will then write these instructions on your order but Royal Mail are not obliged to follow them. Please note however that if you request a package to be left unattended and it subsequently is not safely received by you, we will not refund or replace your order unless you can prove that Royal Mail have lost your package.

Back Orders

Sorry, but we currently do not place items on back order. If there is a specific item you would like to purchase but it is not in stock, please email us and we will notify you when it is back in stock.

Tax Charges

All product prices are inclusive of UK VAT at 17.5% where applicable.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee

Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. Should you receive any consignment from us that is damaged, please advise us immediately. All packages will be dispatched in perfect condition, and we would request you obtain where possible evidence of damaged packaging BEFORE opening it. A claim for compensation if appropriate will need to be submitted to Royal Mail.

If any item sent to you by us is faulty or incomplete, please contact us within seven days of receipt and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent at our cost, or a refund provided if we deem it appropriate. We reserve the right to request you return the faulty goods if required.

Privacy Policy

CAPTURE THE MAGIC LTD do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.

Returns Policy

We hope that you will be completed satisfied with your purchases from us. However, should it be necessary for you to return an item to us because it is damaged, faulty, or incomplete, we will issue a replacement free of charge. If the item is damaged in transit, a compensation claim will be submitted to Royal Mail.

If you wish to cancel an order after it has been submitted but not yet dispatched, we will charge a 15% cancellation fee. The cancellation must be confirmed in writing or via email.

If you wish to cancel an order after dispatch, you must return it to us at your own cost in perfect condition within 14 days. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS WITHOUT AN APPROVED RETURNS FORM which we will supply you with prior to returning your products. You must contact us prior to returning the goods to obtain an Approved Returns Form. We recommend that you insure the parcel and obtain proof of posting. We accept no liabiltiy for parcels dispatched to us but not received. A cancellation charge of 25% will be deducted from your refund. You refund will be issued within 14 days of the receipt by us of the returned goods.
